The question to ask yourself is, “Why do I want to be a CV2R Volunteer?” There are many answers to the question, why lending your time, talent(s) and energy is important. Although you will not get paid for your volunteerism, the benefits you will receive are actually greater than the donation itself. As a CV2R Volunteer, you actually help to improve community life for our veterans; you learn to give back to men and women who gave their lives to defend America, her allies and your freedom; you help veterans who are in need; you help to ensure essential task are completed more effectively; you connect with others who have the same caring spirit that you do; your assistance gives our veterans hope; and you elevate the human spirit.
